Hermanus Day Hospital

The Day Hospital achieves medical excellence with a 21-bed, 3-theatre modern facility; offering the following surgical procedures: Ear, nose and throat, gynaecology, plastic surgery, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology, and orthopaedics.

Hermanus Oncology Centre

This is a centre dedicated entirely to the treatment of cancer. Their services include Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Brachytherapy and Radioactive Iodine Therapy. Offering the best location for treatment within the Overberg area, with patients coming from abroad to be treated here, the centre is a 2-minute stroll to the ocean and 5 minutes to the charming centre of town. Spescare

Spescare offers specialised rehabilitative care to aid in recovery and gaining optimal function. They offer sub-acute care to patients who are ready to leave acute hospitals but still need physical and medical assistance. They offer rehabilitation care to assist patients in regaining function. This is arguably one of the top provincial hospitals in South Africa. It is a level one hospital that offers in-patient and out-patient services, as well as occupational therapy and physiotherapy when it is required to aid in recovery. In addition, the hospital has radiology services, maternity facilities, paediatrics, and a pharmacy. This hospital is equipped with a helipad from which the Western Cape Department of Health EMS/AMS rescue helicopter assists in the event that inter-facility transfers are required from the Hermanus Hospital to a Regional or Tertiary Hospital. 

Hermanus also has excellent healthcare providers for other procedures and care.
