This family orientated suburb in the town of Hermanus is perfect for families with school aged children being close to primary, secondary schools and tertiary education facility, the Hermanus University. Also, suitably located as a perfect base from where to explore the wide variety of activities offered in and around Hermanus.

From adventure seekers looking to do shark cage diving or hang-gliding to nature enthusiasts wanting to visit the Fernkloof Nature Reserve or go hiking and walking in the reserve on established paths. A 75 m high stone hill, known as Hoy's Koppie, appears out of place but is an easy climb from where sweeping views of Walker Bay and Fernkloof Mountains to the North can be enjoyed.
