Paul Kruger, Seeff Hermanus Licensee and National Board Director, has been awarded the prestigious Chairman's Award by Samuel Seeff. In his announcement, he described Paul as follows:

Having worked alongside him for around 20 years, both as a licensee as well as a National Board Director, I can attest to the fact that he truly lives our values in every decision he makes and every proposal he presents. An active member of a number of our committees including Training, IT and Marketing, he is not shy to share his views and have his say in the interests of making the boat go faster.

As an MBA Graduate, Paul has an advanced understanding of human resources, operations, marketing, finance, strategy information, management and organisational behaviour. He has gained a profound understanding of business issues, and skills that enable him to meet the demands of a competitive business environment. Perhaps even more importantly, he also focuses on softer skills, such as the ability to influence people, interact with a broad spectrum of colleagues, customers, suppliers, and negotiate with individuals from all walks of life.
Other qualifications he obtained include an Honours Degree in Recreation Sciences, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Applied Management, a qualified Master Practitioner Real Estate (MPRE) as well as a program in Senior Management Development Real Estate (SMDP) from the University of Stellenbosch. The SMDP Program equips students to apply entrepreneurial principles in a business context; analyse the financial health of an organisation and recommend ways of improving its financial viability; analyse and interpret the effect of economic drivers on industries and companies; use the techniques provided by supply chain and project management theory to plan and execute projects and processes in your organisation effectively and efficiently; draw up an advanced marketing plan incorporating all the facets of a sound and comprehensive marketing approach; and manage, organise, motivate and build people into a great team through considering their personal management and leadership styles.
Paul's entrepreneurial spirit goes way back to 1995 when he started farming. In 1997, he opened his first pizza restaurant in Kimberley and soon thereafter expanded to George and Bloemfontein. He and his wife also opened a Guest Lodge in Kimberley and ran it for 4 years before moving to Potchefstroom. Here, he started his career in Real Estate in 2002 when he bought the Seeff Licences for Potchefstroom, Klerksdorp and Parys, Carletonville and Fochville - all virgin territories for the Seeff group
In August 2016, he bought the Hermanus Licence and with hard work, dedication and a committed, loyal and well-trained team, they took the licence to new heights as a flagship branch in the Seeff Group. Under his leadership, they won the Highest Market Share Award in the Seeff Group for the past 5 years running.
Paul is also involved in two other businesses, a flooring company and a digital marketing company. The flooring company he bought with two business partners in 2019 - Coastline Flooring has already expanded to the West Coast with offices in Langebaan and Stellenbosch. Paul is the founder and MD of the digital marketing company, The Marketing Desk, which focuses on all aspects of marketing, including online and traditional.
Honesty and integrity, along with determination and dedication, are philosophies that Paul strives for in all aspects of his life. Applying these principles to his businesses has allowed him to be a leader in the various industries he is involved in.
Paul is as dedicated in his work life as he is in his personal life. He married the love of his life, Anel, in 1999; and is now the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Carmen and Ivanka Kruger. Paul's love of sport transitioned from playing to coaching rugby teams from school, club, and university to provincial level. He is still very active in the gym scene and plays tennis, as well as enjoying an annual hunting trip with friends.
